Anna & Noah like to do things a little differently and in May of 2023, they shared an intimate wedding ceremony with family on a rooftop in the city.
Anna & Noah decided to follow up their intimate ceremony a few months later with an open-house style reception, hosted in our very own renovated barn at Big Oak Meadows. For booking only 2 months in advance, they sure pulled together something perfect. It was a STUNNING day here at Big Oak Meadows!
The theme for the day was vintage garden party, and the reception was nonstop fun, very non-traditional, and had a delightful hint of an old soul vibe. It captured the beautiful and free-spirit of the bride, perfectly. We LOVED the assortment of colorful and floral dresses that the bridesmaids wore, what a fun detail!
The day varied in timeline from a typical wedding without a ceremony, but the bride still enjoyed getting ready in our beautiful bridal suite (obviously enjoying the slow morning with mimosas and her girls), the couple got all the photos they could need, ate good food, and danced the night away enjoying the evening with their loved ones.
Obviously, a garden party would not be complete without champagne bubbles, a pizza truck, and a charcuterie table with endless options.
Every table was decorated uniquely full of candles, vases, lanterns and greenery provided by our décor add-on option, mixed with pops of color from gorgeous dahlias picked down the street from her great aunt’s farm! The combination of real and artificial flowers made for endless possibilities. No matter where you sat, each table was a piece of artwork. They also opted to have guests sign a family bible as their guest book.
Anna and Noah chose to use our new white farmhouse table as their dessert table. We always say A BIG YES to dessert! Especially when it’s complete with mini fruit cheesecakes and chocolate mousse in cute little jars.
What we loved most about Noah and Anna’s wedding was the incredible amount of family and friends that surrounded them. They were truly the center of everyone’s life on this beautiful day!
