Ashley & Jon toured the venue in December ‘22 and on the same day as their venue tour decided they wanted to book. They went for a short planning season and booked a May ’23 wedding.
Ashley & Jon were the first couple to utilize our wedding décor add-on service, which was a huge advantage since they only had a few short months to plan. Everything came together so beautifully.
The brides vision was simple & classy, with a hint of elegance and she nailed it. The colors were black, white and gold.
The ceremony was short and sweet, with lots of personal touches. The bride walked down the aisle to “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake played by her brother on guitar. Our favorite moment was the bride & groom taking communion and praying together. The ceremony really showcased the love these two have for each other.
The couple utilized our vintage unity table and were the very first to use the chandelier on the arch in The Pines.
After a quick post ceremony celebration, the couple had opted to take portraits at The Big Oak.
The reception space was simple and yet so beautiful. The couple used our mirror base, cylinder vases and LED pillar candles on each table. The bride brought 2 large buckets of baby’s breath to utilize for the centerpieces and head table. The head table used our gold candlesticks and tapered candles, and open gold frame with budvases on the backdrop. They also used our gold frames for signage, gold geometric card box, gold mirrors, and some bud vases around the venue.
One of our favorite parts of the reception was the massive donut wall. The bride was so excited about this and insisted on a few fun photos to remember the moment.
No wedding is complete without a private last dance and spectacular send-off. We love that intimate private moment a couple gets to have before the night is over and send-off photos are some of our favorites. The gold tassels did not disappoint and made for a fun exit.
We loved how much this wedding reflected the goodness of God and showcased the special love this couple has for one another. They were so gracious and a true pleasure to work with. Congratulations Ashley & Jon!
